Top Listed Animals in Danger of Extinction

Millions of people live without even knowing that there are animals which are endangered, is something that we must work and is as important as water scarcity or felling of trees in the country and even cities. Today we will list top animals in danger of extinction, as always you’re welcome to join the discussion and clarify that this theme is to reflect ry appreciate the animals that we still have and what we could save just by putting our bit support.

1. Bluefin

It is a species of tuna that lives in the western part of the Atlantic Ocean, is one of the most coveted fish due to high demand in Asian countries like Japan. Tuna has decreased to 90 % in the Atlantic Ocean and is officially extinct in the black sea and the Caspian sea.


2. Mountain Gorilla

In Africa there is a gorilla species which is in danger of extinction, it is estimated that if poaching continues and large movements of their habitat due to logging, this species could disappear by 2015.


3. The Irrawaddy dolphin

The Irrawaddy dolphin is a species in danger of extinction, currently in the Red List of the International Union for Conservation of Nature. The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) estimates that there are only 85 copies of this beautiful marine species and even had a small increase of the population, yet are considered endangered.


4. Amur Leopard

The leopard has 9 subspecies, including 5 listed endangered, one of these subspecies in critical condition is the Amur leopard is considered the most endangered big cat. Currently only been recorded from 25 to 35 individuals in booking Siberia.


5. Axolotl

Perhaps one of the animals endangered lesser known in the world, why is the catalog of rare in 1986. It is a species endemic to Mexico which has been difficult to assess due to fragmented population and constant changes in habitat. It is estimated that currently there are only 100 copies.


6. Philippine Owl

In the Philippines there is an endemic species of owls and very vulnerable which is currently endangered. Its population is very small and fragmented, further compounded by the constant felling of trees, it is estimated that its population does not exceed 4,000 copies.


7. Bactrian camel

The Bactrian camel or better known as wild camel is a species with a steady decline in its population, this is due to hunting for careers in other cases line to remove the skin. An estimated total of only 1000 of these animals are wild or more “free”.


8. The polar bear

From the last years polar bears have been constantly hunted (no laws for this), for its skin which is used for coats, and cosmetics among others. Of the 19 species of polar bears, 5 of these are in serious danger of vulnerability and it is estimated that if this situation does not stop, in 2017 could extinguish some species.


9. Snow Leopard

They are found in mountainous areas of Pakistan, India, China, Nepal and Afghanistan and live in heights of 2000-5000 meters. Is in serious danger of extinction this is due to the constant hunt for their fur feline, today there are only about 5000 copies.


10. Koalas

Who does not know the beautiful Koalas? It is an amazing and totally friendly to some environmentalists animal. Its population 20 years is in steady decline, and as such, has been declared endangered. It is endemic to Australia, located in the eastern forests.
