It is a set of three pyramids Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus and is located on the outskirts of Cairo. That of Cheops, 146 feet high and 230 feet lateral, is considered the most important monument built about the year 2570 BC as funeral ecinto for Pharaoh Khufu, and currently the only wonder still standing.


2. Gardens of Babylon

3. The Temple of Artemis

The wonder was located in Ephesus, Turkey, built for the first time about the year 550 BC to the goddess Artemis, still king Croesus of Lydia who promoted its construction. It was destroyed by arson circa 356 BC and later, Alexander the Great ordered his rebuilt; still, the Goths again raze.

6. The Colossus of Rhodes

It is built between 294 BC and 282 BC to the input port of the city of Rhodes on the island of Rhodes (Greece). It was a statue of the god Helios, which had a pedestal between 15 and 20 meters and a skeleton of iron, lined with bronze, between 30 and 32 meters; so that the statue reached a total height of nearly 50 meters. was kept up until the year 226 BC was flattened by an earthquake.


7. The Lighthouse of Alexandria

It was built in the third century BC by Socrates Cnido for Ptolemy II, in the island of Pharos in Alexandria (Egypt) to serve as a reference point as the port and lighthouse. Erected on a square platform base, had a height of 134 meters, was shaped octagonal and to build large blocks were used glass and blocks of marble assembled with lead cast.
